Joie de Vivre Hospitality Celebrates 20th Anniversary with a Joy Party
On September 23, Joie de Vivre Hospitality commemorated 20 years in the hotel industry by incorporating ‘Joy’ into the celebration – literally! Nearly 10,000 California residents named Joy were invited to the Joyfest. Over two hundred Joys arrived to mingle, sip cocktails, nosh appetizers and enjoy entertainment, including a poetry reading by Joie de Vivre’s “Spirit of Joy” community contest winner Joy Shieman. Shieman is known for creating joy in the community and a $500 donation was made to her charity, the Seeds of Joy Fund, which supports the National Association for Poetry Therapy.
