Michael Stano
Vice President of Technology
Michael brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality technology to his position at Joie de Vivre.
Michael is in charge of turnkey IT Operations at Joie de Vivre. He is responsible for the development of the company’s strategic IT plan, implementation and execution of the strategic IT plan, and oversight of general IT operations including technical services, network, and datacenter operations. Michael is heavily involved in Joie de Vivre’s day-to-day operations, as well as being closely involved in Joie de Vivre’s development activities.
Michael joined Joie de Vivre in January 2006. Previously he worked with Le Meridien Hotels as Vice President of Technology for the Americas. Prior to Le Meridien, Michael founded and managed a profitable information technology service company that supported over 500 users in over 90 businesses nationwide. He has been involved with numerous technology refits, including PMS deployments, datacenter design and deployment, enterprise infrastructure upgrades, budget development, and IT service delivery. Additionally, Michael has been involved in numerous hotel openings, remodels, and transitions.
Michael completed general business studies at Metro State College in Denver, Colorado.
