The founding principle of this company is to provide superior service while controlling costs. Recology emphasizes recycling and composting to save landfill space and to preserve our environment. Their innovative programs have helped San Francisco reach a 69% garbage diversion rate. Thanks to San Franciscans' efforts and cooperation, these companies are one step closer toward reaching their goals of 75 % diversion from landfill by 2010 and zero waste by 2020.

In partnering with this company Joie de Vivre's properties using this technology have helped their on-premise laundry practice environmental stewardship while achieving an average 95% reduction of hot water and 30% reduction in total water usage and increasing productivity through washing with ozone.
For our Northern California properties with out on-premise laundry, Royal Laundry has been a key resource and partner with us in our greening efforts. Case in point, we introduced Royal Laundry to Vaska's products and they now are using these products in their facility. This is just one example of how we continue to see that relationships and communication continue to make a difference in reducing our impact on the environment.
