Demand for Boutique Accomodations Propels Joie de Vivre Hospitality's Renovation and Expansion throughout California
San Francisco, April 7, 2006 - California's largest Boutique Hotel Company offers a variety of Hotels/Restaurants & Spas in the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Marin County. Properties include: Adagio, Bijou, Carlton, Commodore, Cathedral Hill, Galleria Park, Maxwell, Rex & Hotel Vitale. Joie de Vivre is proud to announce that we have expanded to West Los Angeles with Hotel Angeleno (near Getty Center). Current announcements include:
Summer Promotion:
Whether traveling for business or for leisure, families staying at any Joie de Vivre property this summer will have the opportunity to partake in a number of unique amenities and activities, making their visits even more remarkable. Children will receive special treatment during check-in, a take-home keepsake gift and a private concierge line for use during their stay. If they're joining parents on a business trip, activities such as day camps and classes will be provided. And if they're at home while parents are away for work, Joie de Vivre will send a web cam in advance so that staying in touch will be the closest thing to being together. Ten percent from each package sold will support the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Expansion:
Complementing the Joie de Vivre-owned Kabuki Springs and Spa, the company will be taking over two properties in San Francisco's Japantown: The former Radisson Miyako Hotel and the Best Western Miyako Inn. The former Radisson Miyako boasts 218 rooms and will be renovated to offer guests an authentic Japanese experience. The former Best Western Miyako Inn has 125 rooms and a cafe. Both hotels will be renovated early 2007.
The complete renovation of the Galleria Park Hotel in San Francisco is set to begin in May and will be completed in October. The hotel will remain open during the entire process. Each room will be receiving an entire overhaul as will all the public and meeting spaces. Travelers to San Francisco's financial district will appreciate the boutique alternative and an entirely new experience with additions such as flat-screen TV's, ergonomic chairs and wireless/hard-wired internet service in each room.
One of Los Angeles' most recognized landmarks is set to unveil its complete transformation to Angelenos and tourists alike as the new boutique hotel property, Hotel Angeleno. After a six-month renovation process, Hotel Angeleno has opened its doors to a casual, yet luxurious Westside destination complete with the city's newest Italian steakhouse, West. The hotel boasts more than 200 redesigned guestrooms and some of the best panoramic views in Los Angeles.
Offering 197 rooms, this hotel will cater to business travelers and will especially appeal to those representing the government sector. It is expected to open in late 2007 and will include two restaurants and a terrace overlooking the capital building which will be ideal for events and private business functions.
San Francisco Tours:
Golden Gate Greeter, a free welcome visitor program for guests, is offered at all 18 of its San Francisco hotels. The service helps guests explore and experience a San Francisco neighborhood with a friendly volunteer Golden Gate Greeter.
Joie de Vivre Hospitality is the first hotel company to offer this level of destination involvement, creating a vacation experience uniquely memorable because of the people guests meet. The Golden Gate Greeter service is designed with visitor expectations in mind while anticipating individual tastes and preferences. Traditional tours typically start and follow a specific route, but a Greeter Visit is more like hanging out with a friend; a more personalized service based upon convenient times for the visitor, their personal interests, and needs.
