San Francisco, CA (May 20, 2004) - JOIE DE VIVRE HOSPITALITY (www.jdvhospitality.com) known for its creative collection of boutique hotels in the SF Bay Area, is proud to announce the San Francisco Honeymoon Makeover Contest. Inspired by the recent makeover of their latest San Francisco property to open, the Hotel Carlton, they are extending the opportunity for one lucky couple to make over a honeymoon that turned into a calamity.
The winning couple will get the opportunity to make over their disastrous occasion (Caribbean cruise cancelled due to hurricane, bride gets food poisoning, groom bit by a monkey, etc.) by receiving the perfect romantic retreat package which includes a weekend at the charming Hotel Carlton (or their choice of any other Joie de Vivre Hospitality boutique hotel), champagne and chocolates upon arrival, two one-hour massages at Kabuki Springs & Spa and a romantic dinner for two. Interested couples simply need to email a brief story (250 words or less) of their disastrous honeymoon to Yvette@jdvhospitality.com or mail to Joie de Vivre Hospitality, 567 Sutter St., San Francisco, CA 94102, Attn: Yvette. Both Yvette, the company's online Hotel Matchmaker, and Chip Conley, CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality, will choose the winning story based on whose horror of a honeymoon is most deserving of a makeover.
Interested couples should enter between May 18, 2004 and June 18, 2004. A winner will be announced on or about June 21, 2004. The San Francisco Honeymoon Makeover Contest prize includes:
