Joie De Vivre Hospitality Appoints Michael J. Wisner As Chief Financial Officer
San Francisco, July 19, 2007 - Joie de Vivre Hospitality has appointed hospitality industry veteran Michael J. Wisner as Chief Financial Officer of its California-focused boutique hotel collection. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial integrity of Joie de Vivre’s current collection of over 40 distinctive hotels, restaurants and spas.
Michael brings 25 years of progressive, successful financial management experience to his position as CFO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality. His acumen includes cultivating relationships with financial partners for key development projects, negotiation of acquisitional financial packages and new developments, and leading necessary financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Michael’s primary responsibility in his role with Joie de Vivre is the oversight of the financial management, health and well-being of the company. Before joining Joie de Vivre Hospitality, he spent close to eight years with Harbor View Holdings, Inc. (Parent of Stanford Hotels Corporation) as Senior VP and CFO (2 years) and previously as VP and Corporate Controller (5 years). During his time at Harbor View Holdings, Michael provided financial oversight to 15 full-service hotels with 4,300 rooms, a residential home building company and a leasing company among others at the multi-faceted holding company. Prior to that, Michael held the position of CFO for 14 years at Tamalpais Hotel Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota. Michael serves as a member of the American Institute of California CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.
