Joie de Vivre Asks: "What would you do with $100 and a hotel room?"
California's Boutique Hotel Collection Gives $100 "Joy Bucks" to Guests through April 30
San Francisco (Feb. 12, 2009) - Joie de Vivre, California's largest boutique hotel collection, is offering $100 "Joy Bucks" to guests who stay two or more nights at any of its 32 California hotels through April 30, 2009. The "What Would You Do with $100 and a Hotel Room" promotion provides a $100 credit that can be applied toward on-property spa treatments, room service, restaurant dining, hotel amenities or the room rate.
"We don't see our hotel rooms as commodities; we see them as canvases for guests' individual experiences," said Chip Conley, founder and CEO of Joie de Vivre. "Our ‘What Would You Do with $100 and a Hotel Room?' campaign is intended to be provocative and experience-driven. We hope people will be reminded of what they love about hotels and California travel and be inspired to celebrate whatever the occasion may be, perhaps a birthday, an anniversary or some celebration from the ordinary."
Guests can share what they did with $100 and a hotel room on the Joie de Vivre Hotels page on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Joie-de-Vivre-Hotels/16535052652).
The offer requires a two-night minimum stay at all hotels except for the Good Hotel, Hotel Carlton and Wild Palms Hotel, where a three-night minimum stay is required. Guests will receive the $100 credit on their hotel bill upon check out. Room rates are based on the best available rate, and start from $89 per night. The offer must be booked in advance (booking code "JOYBUCKS") and is subject to availability. For more information and to book, visit http://www.jdvhotels.com or call 800.738.7477.
Joie de Vivre is also offering all Joy of Life Club members double Joy Points through April 30, 2009 on all stays and spa treatments at any of its 32 California properties. Joie de Vivre's boutique hotels range from the luxuriously revitalizing Hotel Vitale to the "rock 'n roll" Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco; from the hip Hotel Angeleno in Los Angeles to the
