Joie de Vivre's Hotel Vitale and Ventana Inn & Spa Named Travel + Leisure's "T+L 500" List
San Francisco (January 7, 2009) - Joie de Vivre, California's largest boutique hotel collection, announces two of its luxury properties - Hotel Vitale in San Francisco and Ventana Inn & Spa in Big Sur - were named among the world's top 500 properties by readers of Travel + Leisure. The hotels were voted to the seventh annual "T+L 500" list, which appears in the January 2009 issue.
The 199-room Hotel Vitale - new to the "T+L 500" - was noted for its Embarcadero location facing the landmark Ferry Building, the Bay Bridge and San Francisco Bay, as well as its resort-like amenities. Travel + Leisure readers' also singled out the Ventana Inn & Spa's location. Ventana Inn & Spa recently underwent an $18 million renovation.

Hotel Vitale also was noted as a "Reserve" hotel on the "Gold List" in the January 2009 issue.
