San Francisco’s Hotel Vitale Announces Three New Terrace Studios with Rooftop Decks and Spectacular Views of the City’s Waterfront Versatile Studios Embody the Hotel’s “Luxury, Naturally” Concept
SAN FRANCISCO (December 2, 2008) - Hotel Vitale, San Francisco's first luxury waterfront hotel, has announced the addition of three spectacular terrace studios with adjoining rooftop decks -- featuring stunning views of the Ferry Building, the Bay Bridge, San Francisco Bay and downtown. Reflecting the hotel's signature "luxury, naturally" aesthetic, each room boasts sleek and modern custom furniture and rugs, wood floors, carefully selected artwork and a private terrace with luxurious outdoor seating. These versatile rooms are ideal for private events and functions, meeting space or simply for a couple seeking a romantic escape.
"We constantly receive requests from our guests for private terraces for a romantic retreat or event, so the terrace studios were a natural extension to the hotel," said Euan Taylor, managing director of Hotel Vitale, a Joie de Vivre luxury boutique property. "Our designer Colum McCartan has done a superb job in recreating the hotel's clean and simple lines for a modern, residential look, perfect for creative retreats or to celebrate a personal occasion, whether near or far from home."
Created by McCartan Design, the edgy modern custom furniture creates a distinctive sense of harmony, complementing the elegant design aesthetic of the hotel. Traditional influences paired with modern sensibilities are infused into the custom rugs that adorn the new rooms' wooden floors. Select artwork from Collins Photography enlivens each room with rich texture and a beautiful color palette. The private rooftop decks create a sense of elegant sophistication and create a perfect setting from which to enjoy the beautiful San Francisco skyline and Bay Bridge vistas. Designed for versatility with an easy-to-use Murphy bed, the rooms meet two different needs - a luxurious studio or a unique event space.
Vista Terrace Studio
This large corner Terrace Studio on the top floor of Hotel Vitale provides expansive 180-degree views of the San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz, Angel Island and the Ferry Building. Guests will enjoy the comfort of a 509-square-foot room with beautiful bamboo floors. Sliding glass doors lead to a private 460-square-foot wrap-around terrace. The Vista Terrace Studio features a queen size bed, 32" flat screen TV, seating area for six, and extended work area with a large picture window. The Vista Studio has a spa-style bathroom with a rainforest shower head. This space is ideal for an executive retreat or reception.
Cielo Terrace Studio
The spacious 496-square-foot corner Terrace Studio on the 7th floor of Hotel Vitale provides dramatic views of the San Francisco skyline. The Cielo Terrace Studio features a queen size bed, walnut floors, 32" flat screen TV, and a raised seating area leading to a private 500-square-foot terrace. The limestone covered bathroom features a shower/tub combination. This space is ideal for a presentation or cocktail party.
Terrazzo Terrace Studio
The corner Terrace Studio on the 6th floor of Hotel Vitale provides a charming view of the city and the Ferry Building. The 339-square-foot room features a queen size bed, 32" flat screen TV, walnut floors, a small seating area, and stairs leading to sliding glass doors accessing the private, 500-square-foot terrace. The limestone covered bathroom features a shower/tub combination. This space is ideal for an interview or outdoor reception.
Hotel Vitale also boasts the 3,000-square-foot outdoor patio at Americano Restaurant & Bar as well as the outdoor terraces on the hotel's upper floors, with views overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Both are ideal spots for private outdoor events or simply unwinding after a long day.
