Joie de Vivre's Hotel Adagio and Hotel Angeleno Help Soothe Bear Market Blues with DJIA Index Promo Offering 10% to 20% Discount on Meetings
San Francisco, October 20, 2008 – To take some of the sting out of continuing stock market fluctuations, Joie de Vivre’s San Francisco-based Hotel Adagio and Los Angeles-based Hotel Angeleno are offering a 10% to 20% discount on meetings booked by Jan. 31, 2009, depending on the Dow Jones close the day a meetings contract is signed.
The “DJIA Index” promotion applies to groups of 10 rooms per night or more. The hotels will quote their regular room and meeting rates on an initial meetings proposal, and apply a discount to both based on the Dow Jones Industrial Average close the date the contract is signed, as follows:
Hotel Angeleno will also apply the discount to meetings-associated food and beverage costs. The 209-room Hotel Angeleno has five meeting venues accommodating groups of 12 to 75. The five meeting spaces are located on the upper levels of the 17-floor hotel and offer panoramic views of West LA.
